Angel's word in 5 part essay

Christmas is a time of friends visiting me from all over the world. Right now, I have Angela visiting me from Taipei. And, she taught me how to write in 5 part essay.

Here is her example:

When you visit a city as complicated and modern as Hong Kong, you need a good guide.   You need someone to give you the skinny on what to buy and where to buy it.  You’ll want to know what’s going on in different parts of the city.  And you’ll want to stay in comfort and style.   For all these things, there’s only one person to know:  Kit.

Kit knows where to buy what you need.  The weather has snapped cold,  you’ve no jacket, and you’re larger than average size?  She’ll take you to Stanley Bay Market, and in a short time you’ll be outfitted warmly and with style.  Plus she’ll take you to a delicious noodle shop and ply you with wonton noodles and hot strong Hong Kong milk tea.  Now you know where to go!

She’ll take you around the city and tell you interesting stories about what you see.  She’ll tell you how the city wants to renew a certain North Point neighborhood, but architects want to save this Bauhaus-era building because there’s only four left in Asia, in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong.  Then as the bus passes by the place, sure enough, you can see the residents’ protest banners, and you have the background information to know what you’re seeing.  You feel in-the-know, and involved in Hong Kong life.

Kit is a great hostess.   She can make plans and change them in a heartbeat if things don’t work out.  She makes everything seem effortless, and you float from activity to activity as if it’s all been laid out in heaven.  She has a lovely flat, full of interesting and beautiful objects.  The towels and sheets she provides are very high quality in texture and pattern, giving you a sense of luxury.  Forgot your shampoo?  She’ll offer you all her well-sourced beauty products, and you’ll feel like a pampered princess. Staying with Kit, you can forget all your cares.

Hong Kong is a complicated city, but it doesn’t need to be difficult to visit.  Kit will take you shopping in exactly the right places.  She’ll tell you all about where you’re going and where you’re passing through.   She’ll make your visit easy and light with her good taste and generosity.  If you’re lucky enough to be friends with Kit, you’ll have the perfect Hong Kong weekend.
